Friends of the Wollaston Library (FOWL) supports the goals of the Library through fundraising, volunteering and coordinating projects/programs that will aid in increasing the public’s use and awareness of the Library in the community. New friends are always welcome.
Meetings are held on the third Wednesday every month at 1:00 p.m. at the library.
FOWL organizes and runs the annual giant book sale on the Saturday of the July 1st weekend. Book and movie donations are accepted throughout the year. Please contact the librarian to arrange drop-off.
Recent activities include providing funding to purchase books to expand the local history and youth sections of the library, sponsoring a membership drive with a cookie incentive, and supporting library board initiatives such as the All-Candidates meeting for the 2018 municipal election.
To become a friend of the Library or to inquire about other volunteer opportunities, please call the Library at 613-337-5183 or email The Librarian.
