Inter-library Loans

If you would like to read a book that is not in our collection, we can request it from another library and have it sent out by mail.  Just ask the Librarian and she will make the arrangements.  Please know that other libraries lend only printed materials (not media), and do not lend out their new books or reference materials.  If the book you want is at least a year old, and a library has it, we can probably get it for you.

To see for yourself if the book you want is available at a public library in Ontario, go to the  ZPORTAL Search.  You don’t have to sign in, but when you initiate a search, you will need to click on the drop-down box beside Current Profile and change the default search area to SOLS Toronto/Kawartha/401 Area [shared].
